ANGELAB challenges will be achieved by the moving forward consortium partner´s patented and demonstrated techniques such as:

  • Demonstrated complex sample preparation and molecular diagnostics using low cost LabonaChip.
  • Demonstrated magnetophoresis suitable for fetal extraction.
  • In tube Fetal-specific DNA methylation ratio that permits noninvasive prenatal diagnosis of Down Syndrome within the consortium.
  • Available and demonstrated complex sample preparation steps on chips suitable for DNA methylation.
  • Demonstrated within the consortium capability on Digital PCR on a Labonachip for DNA analysis.
  • Available Digital PCR suitable for the detection of Down syndrome
  • Internally available expertise to carry out fetal monogenetic diagnostic of paternal origin using mother´s blood
  • Unique knowledge in Quantum Dots
